Bernadine & Kobus – Garden Route Gem
A trip down the Garden route is always a pleasure, being my birth country it’s always a pleasure to shoot there and the scenic options are countless. When the bride informed me that I had all the time I needed to capture the beauty of the surrounds I knew this would be a win win situation. We had the wedding ceremony in the stunning and majestic farming town of Harold in the Langkloof valley just over the Outeniqua Mountain range with the reception being held in the coastal village of Wilderness. This was sweet music to my ears as it gave me ample shoot options as we drove through the country side and mountains passes to the coast. I absolutely love shooting weddings in the Garden route…and if you are a bride looking for some venue inspiration, look no further!
The area offers scenic and natural beauty be it a coastal or inland location, kind and friendly people and service vendors that are as talented as you will find anywhere else on this planet…plus who doesn’t enjoy spending a couple of days in the garden route making it a perfect wedding destination wedding option.
